Beyond the Hill's Editorial Board

Mandate of the Editorial Board
- The Magazine Editorial Board will be a committee reporting to the Board of Directors of the CAFP.
- Membership of the Editorial Board shall be 3-5 former parliamentarians with experience in journalism, broadcasting or communications appointed by the Board of Directors.
- The Editorial Board members shall elect their Board Chair.
- The duties and responsibilities of the Editorial Board shall consist of:
- suggesting to the editorial staff of the magazine, subjects and themes for inclusion in the magazine
- reviewing each edition of the magazine after its publication in order to suggest possible changes and improvements to the editorial staff of the magazine
- suggesting possible contributors to the magazine and assisting the editorial staff in securing the cooperation of such potential contributors
- providing, as individuals, such coaching and advice as may from time to time be requested by members of the editorial staff
- meetings of the Editorial Board shall be by teleconference at the call of its Chair. Arrangements for such meetings will be handled by the CAFP staff.
- Management of the contractual arrangements between the CAFP and the magazine editorial staff will remain the responsibility of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the CAFP.
